Fall Scrapbook Pages

Okay, so I haven't scrapbooked pictures since my daughter was born... in 2006. Since digital cameras, most of my pics are stored on my hard drive... and some still on memory cards.  I did print a bunch of my favorites, and I have a whole box of them waiting for attention.

In the spirit of fall and Halloween, I decided I would start.  Here are my first 3 pages:

Paper: Stampin' Up!
Images: The Greeting Farm, Bugaboo
Accessories: SU!, Stickers-Unknown

I had lots of fun doing these. I have 2 or 3 more pages to go. I must finish, because for now they are all my DD. I still have DS' first Halloween last year. I want to finish before this Halloween is over. My stamp room is already a mess from all the paper and bellies for this project.

Hope you enjoyed.

Har Repotter!!

OMG! Thank you, Bugaboo!!

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I have been since high school. Every year, I revisit my Harry Potter books. This year, I have read them once, but since I've seen Bugaboo's Har Repotter set, I've been wanting to dive into them again.

Besides Harry, Dumbledore is my favorite character. It is so very easy to love him like a guardian. So, of course, my first creation using my new set would be of him.

Paper: Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Bugaboo Har Repotter- The Wise One
Accessories: SU! Brads, Ribbon, Twine, Watercolor Pencils, Dazzling Diamonds, Crystal Effects, Sponges

Did I hear you GASP!? Yes, that is a page from my Harry Potter book.

I brought out my Deathly Hallows book to read. While I was making dinner, my 18-month-old monster tore apart the book. It is completely mutilated! He pulled the pages out of the binding, and ripped pages out. Coincidentally, this half-page was the first page I discovered when I returned to my living room. Only my son truly knows how upset I was. But, I refuse to throw the book away, and I will not try to piece it back together. So...here it is...and there will be many more creations to come using my old, beat-up Deathly Hallows book.

Well, truthfully, my book wasn't the only thing my son had fun with, so I must return to life and clean.

Papercraft Star Challenge 16 Inspiration

I love blog-hopping for inspiration. I was recently referred to Papercraft Star. Their challenges are wonderful! The winner of each challenge receives free goodies, and that winner is determined by voters! Yes, you and I get to vote who wins. And winner gets a bragging-blog-button to post on their blog! Yay! I want one!!

If you haven't yet visited Papercraft Star, you must! They have set a goal to get 1,000 followers (currently at 798) and are giving away $25 Gift Certificate to either Papertrey Ink or My Favorite Things to a random selected winner. There are other ways to get additional entries, click here for more information.

Now, my challenge card. Here is the sketch:

The winner of this week's challenge gets 7 free Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I just adore Bugaboo stamps... so, of course, I had to use a Bugaboo image for this week's challenge.

Paper: Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Bugaboo Digi Fall Wheel Barrow Kids
Accessories: SU! Ribbon, SU! Brads, Watercolor Pencils, Blender Pens

I stamped my Thanksgiving sentiment on the inside of the card. I thought these kids were so darn cute, I couldn't pull anyone's eyeballs away from it! :0)

This card is so much fun, I plan to make one for each of my neices and nephews. Whoa! That's a lot! I better get started.

Please comment with your blog address, I would love to see your creations. Follow me, and I will return the favor.

Hope you enjoyed... Thank you for visiting!

My New Blog!!!

I'm so excited! I started this new blog, because my other blog is linked to my business and there are rules to what I can and cannot post. I needed a place where I could post all my creations freely!

So... Welcome to My New Blog!!!

Here is my first creation:

Paper: Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink and Whisper White CS, Japanese Washi Paper
Stamps: TGF Geisha Anya
Ink: Stampin' Up! Pretty in Pink
Die Cuts: Cricut Pagoda Cartridge
Accessories: Sponges, SU! Basic Pearls Jewels, SU! Watercolor Pencils, White Sheer Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

This is my entry for The Greeting Farm's Altered Notebook Contest. I had so much fun with this project. No, I'm not a huge fan of the color pink, but I love cherry blossoms! They are so pretty!

Well, I am crossing my fingers that my notebook may be chosen by TGF. Wish me luck!
